Wondercide is powered by cedarwood oil, which affects octopamine. This is essential to life for pheromone-driven pests like fleas and ticks. Beneficial insects like bees and butterflies don’t rely on octopamine for their vital systems and are not affected by our sprays in the same way.
Any residue that remains after application will not harm them. We can tell you from using the sprays ourselves for over 15 years, as well as from thousands of customers' feedback, that pollinators are flourishing in yards protected by Wondercide.
Our sprays are labeled for use on bugs like fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes but aren't labeled or designed for direct application on bees or other beneficial insects. Flying insects will remove themselves from an area being sprayed. However, do not spray when pollinators are actively foraging.
